ALDI USA is seeking a Store Manager Trainee to lead daily store operations, manage a team, and drive results. You will learn hands-on leadership and participate in stocking, merchandising, customer service, and maintaining store standards while working with associates.

The role offers full-time hours, a 45-hour work week, and a starting wage of 35.50 USD per hour with potential earnings up to 122,000 USD in year one (salary and bonus where applicable).

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior experience in a retail environment and prior management experience.

Responsibilities

• Communicates responsibilities and performance expectations to direct reports.
• Leads and develops store personnel to achieve results.
• Develops action plans to improve operating results.
• Oversees resolution of employee and customer concerns with the district manager as needed.
• Interviews candidates and provides recommendations to the district manager.
• Manages scheduling, payroll and adherence to expense guidelines.
• Ensures store standards and policies are followed.
