Job summary

Farmers Furniture is offering a Store Manager Trainee (SMT) program in the United States, South Carolina, Seneca. The program focuses on structured training, Thrive rotations, and live events to prepare candidates for permanent Store Manager roles based on performance and geographic needs.

Participants complete Farmers Academy training, Thrive rotations, and in-person live events, with opportunities to work across locations and potentially manage a store in the absence of the Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of practical supervisory retail and/or sales experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License and must be able to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day store operations including sales, credit, collections, warehouse, delivery, bookkeeping, and general office functions.
• Assist in training and documentation for Farmers Academy and Thrive Program rotations.
• Operate and demonstrate proficiency in the company’s point of sale systems and tools.
• Travel to multiple training locations as needed and submit travel expense reports.
