Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking candidates for the Store Manager Trainee (SMT) program in Manning, SC. Trainees will receive in-store operational training, online learning, and live events while supporting daily store functions.

Upon successful completion, SMTs are considered for permanent Store Manager roles based on performance and geographic needs. Roles require travel, a valid driver's license, and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three (3) years experience in practical supervisory retail and/or sales.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License and travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Completes all Farmers Academy training, Thrive Program rotations, live training events, projects, assessments, and documentation.
• Participates in weekly SMT Check In Meetings and supports day-to-day store operations.
• Operates POS systems, processes sales and installments, and assists with account approvals.
• May manage a store location in the absence of the Store Manager and travel to training locations.
