Job summary

Farmers Home Furniture is seeking a motivated professional to join the Store Manager Trainee (SMT) program in Savannah, GA. The program blends in-store operational training, Thrive program rotations, online learning, and live events to develop well-rounded store leaders ready for permanent Store Manager roles.

Participants will learn and demonstrate proficiency across sales, POS systems, merchandising, and daily store operations while supporting multiple training locations; successful completion

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED and three (3) years of supervisory retail/sales experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid State Driver’s License and be able to travel overnight.

Responsibilities

• Supports daily store operations including sales, credit, collections, warehouse, delivery, bookkeeping and office functions.
• Operates POS systems and store apps; handles sales, installments, and customer payments.
• Assists with inventory counts, store displays, promotions, and events.
• May manage a store location in the Store Manager’s absence and travel to training locations as needed.
