Town Pump is seeking a motivated Store Manager Trainee to join our team in Belgrade, Montana. You will train with the store management to learn all aspects of store operations, customer service, and leadership responsibilities.

As an acting store manager in the absence of the manager, you will handle daily bookwork, ordering, inventory, merchandising, and basic maintenance, while promoting a professional, team-oriented work environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service and retail operations.
• Ability to train and supervise staff.
• Familiar with inventory, pricing, and merchandising.
• Willing to act as store manager in absence of manager.

Responsibilities

• Learn supervisory decisions aligned with Town Pump standards.
• Understand controllable expenses, promotions, and margins.
• Lead by example in customer service and store operations.
• Act as store manager during manager’s absence.
• Maintain daily bookwork and records using a computer.
• Manage ordering, inventory, pricing, stocking, and merchandising.
• Perform store maintenance and banking tasks.
