Job summary

Yesway in Gallup, NM is seeking a Store Supervisor to assist the Store Manager with training and development of employees, scheduling shifts, and ensuring high standards of guest service during all hours of operation.

You will resolve customer concerns, oversee compliance, audits, stocking, and the end-of-day procedures to monitor profits, shrink, and preventive controls. The ideal candidate has at least one year of supervisory experience in retail or fast‑food and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• One year experience supervising others in retail or fast-food or convenience operation preferred.
• Successful completion of required certification testing upon employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager with management responsibilities including training and development of employees and store responsibilities.
• Scheduling employees for shifts.
• Resolving store issues including customer concerns.
• Ensure compliance with all required regulations and requirements.
• Assist with audits and proper placement and stocking of merchandise.
• Ensure hospitality for all store guests by overseeing timely guest transactions.
• Monitor profits through end of day procedures, shrink indicators, lottery, stock audits, vendors, car wash operations and retail waste.
