Job summary

Walgreens is launching an accelerated Store Manager development track in Washington. This program blends hands-on store operations with front-end and pharmacy exposure, under the Store Manager's guidance, to prepare you for a full Store Manager role within the specified timeframe.

Participants complete classroom, online, and on-the-job training, rotate through nearby stores, and pursue required certifications including pharmacy technician registration as governed by state.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent retail management experience may be considered.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including extended days, evenings, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Learn Walgreens’ operations and participate in leading store activities across front-end and pharmacy.
• Shadow Store Manager to gain experience in opening/closing, staffing, merchandising, and price accuracy.
• Support customer experience by coaching team on service delivery and resolving issues.
