Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a candidate for its accelerated Store Manager development program. You will learn store operations, front-end and pharmacy, shadow the Store Manager, and complete rotations across the network to prepare for permanent assignment.

With a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and a willingness to work flexible hours, you will gain certifications, SOP proficiency, and leadership skills, aiming for Store Manager readiness as part of a structured learning plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience or High School Diploma/GED and 5 years of retail management experience.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.
• PTCB Certification preferred.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Shadows Store Manager and gains experience supervising the operation of the store and team members, including shift openings/closures and task delegation.
• Learns to supervise merchandising tasks and price promotional spaces, using signage and discounts.
• Monitors customer service trends and coaches team members to improve service metrics.
• Learns to analyze inventory trends and ensure SOP adherence across front-end and pharmacy.
