Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Store Manager Trainee in the United States, Maine, Buxton, to learn all aspects of store operations across front-end and pharmacy. The program leads toward a Store Manager role through an accelerated development plan with rotations in multiple nearby stores.

Under the Store Manager's guidance, you will shadow operations, participate in training, and complete required certifications while developing leadership and compliance competencies to advance within Walgreens.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus 3 years retail management experience required.
• High School Diploma/GED with 5 years of retail management experience acceptable.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to transfer to Walgreens retail assets within the hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the operation of the store's front end and pharmacy under the Store Manager.
• Shadows Store Manager to gain experience in opening/closing shifts and task delegation.
• Supports learning plan by completing rotations across stores.
• Implements SOPs across front-end and pharmacy and learns systems.
• Analyzes performance data to identify sales opportunities and cost control.
