Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a trainee to learn full store operations—front-end and pharmacy—while progressing on an accelerated Store Manager track. You will shadow the Store Manager, complete rotations, and gain hands-on experience in daily store leadership, customer service, and compliance.

The program includes classroom, online, and on-the-job training with a focus on developing leadership, operational mastery, and readiness for permanent assignment as a Store Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years retail management experience.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (Except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including extended days, evenings, and weekend hours.
• Willingness to transfer to other Walgreens retail assets located within the same hiring Area.

Responsibilities

• Oversees front-end and pharmacy operations under the Store Manager’s direction.
• Shadows Store Manager to learn supervisory tasks, opening/closing, and shift delegation.
• Learns to analyze store performance data and develop improvement plans.
• Learns standard operating procedures and compliance across front-end and pharmacy.
• Supports customer experience by coaching staff and resolving issues.

Education
