You will partner with the Store Manager to lead staff, develop talent, drive sales, protect assets, and deliver customer-centric service in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a Store Manager Trainee with at least six months of store management experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform duties for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible retail hours including weekends and holidays.
• Store Manager Trainee will work 45+ hours per week and may require travel between locations.
• Cash handling experience is required and basic computer literacy with POS systems is expected.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate a customer-centric environment by engaging customers professionally and addressing issues.
• Monitor and assist in training Pawnbrokers to meet FirstCash standards.
• Recruit top talent by sourcing candidates through prescribed channels.
• Open and close the store, count cash, and protect assets.
• Ensure asset protection through inventory control and secure loans.
• Administer store processes including inventory, loans, merchandising, and reporting.
• Evaluate financial statements and drive profitability through communication and goal-setting.
• Maintain operating standards that meet FirstCash requirements.
• Monitor loan qualifications and buying processes for value and integrity.
• Communicate clearly with staff about store mission and goals.
• Remain up-to-date on product knowledge and act as manager on duty when needed.
