Job summary

CNG Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily operations and drive profitability at one or more Check 'N Go, Allied Cash, or Cash Store locations.

You will oversee sales, customer service, and staff leadership within the district, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal regulations. This role requires hands-on supervision and a focus on delivering a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of sales, customer service, and cash handling experience.
• 1+ year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, work in an autonomous environment, and provide store level leadership.
• Must have own personal reliable transportation with valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
• Willingness to embrace core values: accountable, inclusive, transparent, focused.

Responsibilities

• Serve and educate customers on the product portfolio by presenting options that meet their needs.
• Interact with customers using active listening to confirm information and diffuse complaints.
• Escalate issues to the District Director of Operations and Corporate Office if unresolved.
• Respond professionally to general inquiries, applications, requests, sales, and compliance calls per regulations.
• Handle and count currency, manage cash drawer, deposits, and cash handling requirements.
• Balance batch receipts with store reports and resolve over/short discrepancies.
• Process all transactions per company policy (loans, check cashing, Net Spend).
• Comply with federal/state regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate operations, development, and training to achieve metric targets.
• Maintain staff schedules and cover other stores within the district.
• Assist with recruiting, selection, and onboarding of Assistant Store Managers.
