Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will supervise and develop the leadership team, manage stockroom, front end, and sales floor, and ensure payroll and scheduling align with business needs. The role requires strong customer service, multi-tasking, and the ability to coach Associates to deliver excellent service and sales results.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks to achieve goals.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Leads all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches.
• Analyses Store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall Store performance.
• Addresses variances to standards with action plans with District Manager support.
• Ensures proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives.
• Responsible for payroll administration and scheduling compliance.
• Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and all Retail Associates.
