Job summary

Boot Barn is seeking a Store Manager in California to drive sales and lead a high-performing team. You will coach partners, maintain product knowledge, and ensure exceptional customer service while managing staffing and expenses.

This role partners with District leadership to optimize store operations and profitability. As a store leader, you will train teams across categories, oversee scheduling, and implement company policies to maintain a best-in-class environment and strong customer

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree and/or 2 to 4 years of experience in retail store management.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading teams in a selling environment.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Availability for nights, weekends and holidays.
• Flexibility with scheduling and willingness to work extended hours.
• Up to 15% travel to support local stores.

Responsibilities

• Lead store partners to foster a service and selling culture and exceed expectations.
• Develop training plans and achieve full competency across product categories.
• Assess localized customer needs and communicate to District Manager.
• Analyze business trends to maximize sales and meet key metrics.
• Review goals with partners and provide coaching and recognition.
• Ensure adequate staffing and manage payroll implications.
• Maintain merchandising presentation guidelines and educate staff.
• Lead loyalty programs and drive community-focused events.
