Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a Store Manager in Derby, Kansas to lead the entire store team, deliver outstanding customer experience, and drive sales and profitability. You will coach, mentor, and develop associates while ensuring merchandising excellence and rigorous operational execution.

You will guide the team to meet financial goals, manage staffing and payroll, recruit and retain top talent, and uphold store standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Experience supervising 20 or more associates, including performance management responsibilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
• Flexible availability including days, nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Guide profitable sales and achieve store financial plans and goals through strategic leadership of the store team.
• Manage payroll planning by scheduling staff to align with weekly and monthly sales and traffic.
• Recruit, hire, and make decisions on store personnel including management.
• Oversee associate relations and performance management; enforce company policies.
• Lead training for new hires on Kohl's culture, products, selling practices and responsibilities; set goals for associates.
