URBN Urban Outfitters, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager at our Newton, MA location to lead a team in creating an engaging, omni-channel retail experience.

You will drive sales through exceptional customer service, develop talent, and manage daily operations to uphold a culture of creativity and trust. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in retail leadership, strong merchant skills, and a proven ability to deliver financial results while promoting an inclusive environment and community engagement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail leadership experience
• Strong merchant skills and a history of delivering financial results
• Proven record of developing great talent
• Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the store including nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Customer Experience: Cultivates a welcoming and personalized customer experience; uses service indicators and scheduling to drive service and selling culture; leverages omni-channel tools to transact and exceed expectations; connects with the community for store events and opportunities
• Leadership + Team Management: Builds an inclusive environment; develops talent and networks for external hires; drives onboarding and brand alignment; supports development through team activities and recognition
• Visual + Business Operations: Plans daily/weekly/monthly procedures; reviews sales forecasts, staffing, and payroll; uses reports to identify opportunities and guides visual merchandising and omni operations
• Communication + Relationships: Maintains open communication; ensures timely information flow; coordinates scheduling and staffing; shares store insights with district and home office teams
