Job summary

Dollar General seeks an experienced store manager to lead day-to-day operations at our Atlanta-area location. You will supervise staff, ensure staffing levels, train employees, and enforce store policies to deliver excellent customer service and achieve sales goals.

Responsibilities include recruiting, evaluating performance, managing inventory, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents, safety rules and operating manuals.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit control.
• Knowledge of inventory management and merchandising practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all store employees, planning and implementing store processes.
• Recruit, select and retain staff, provide training and conduct performance evaluations.
• Set pay rates and advancement recommendations; enforce safety and policy standards.
• Ensure proper staffing and opening/closing procedures; manage daily store operations.
• Monitor sales trends, inventory, and shrink; manage ordering and replenishment.
