Job summary

Dollar General seeks an experienced store manager in Georgia to lead daily operations, staffing, inventory, and customer service. You will oversee ordering, receiving, stocking, merchandising, and cash controls while ensuring compliance with company policies and laws.

You will train and evaluate employees, set performance standards, open/close shifts, and drive sales through effective team leadership and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret documents and perform basic math.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees according to laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training and conduct evaluations; address performance issues and counseling as needed.
• Manage scheduling, opening/closing, and store operations daily.
• Monitor sales, inventory, and shrink; implement improvements.
• Ensure cashier accountability, security and customer service excellence.
