Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
• One year of management experience in a retail environment preferred.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, selects, and retains qualified employees per laws and policies; ensures proper staffing.
• Provides training; conducts performance evaluations; counsels or terminates when needed.
• Makes recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicates expectations; coordinates safety and policy meetings.
• Maintains proper opening/closing routines and store staffing.
• Monitors business trends through operating statements; controls expenses and shrink.
• Manages stock levels; reviews ordering plans and cycle counts.
• Ensures proper merchandise presentation and pricing signage.
• Maintains inventory accuracy and security of cash handling.
