Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees per laws and policies; ensure store is properly staffed.
• Provide training for employees; conduct performance evaluations; address gaps and counseling if needed.
• Make recommendations on pay rate and advancement.
• Communicate performance and safety expectations; coordinate staff meetings and safety policies.
• Open/close the store regularly; ensure staffing and daily operations.
• Analyze operating statements to identify trends and opportunities; manage expenses.
• Ensure meeting or exceeding in-stock targets; review ordering and inventory issues weekly.
• Staging, stocking and storage of merchandise according to company processes.
• Ensure proper merchandising, pricing and signage; maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain cash control, security practices, and cashier accountability.
• Provide superior customer service leadership and a safe shopping environment.
• Keep store clean, organized and properly equipped for tasks.
• Adhere to SOPs and complete paperwork on deadlines.
