Hot Topic in California is seeking an experienced Store Manager who will lead our store to hit sales goals and deliver an exceptional in-store experience for customers and employees. You will recruit and develop a passionate team, oversee operations, and ensure brand standards while leveraging social media, merchandising, and clienteling to drive engagement and loyalty.

Qualifications

2+ years of retail store management experience with a record of leading teams.
Strong communication, recruiting, and operations skills (payroll, reporting, scheduling, merchandising).

Responsibilities

Drive sales plan and achieve comp/store targets.
Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
Lead customer engagement through social channels and clienteling.
Maintain an operational business with structure, delegation, and customer-first selling.
Monitor shrink, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business.
Communicate trends and feedback with retail leadership and HQ.
Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy.
Manage store policies, adapt to new technologies, and control supply spending.
Merchandise the store using planograms and launch promos on time.
Mentor and develop staff through recognition and feedback.
