Hot Topic is seeking a Store Manager in Palmdale, CA to lead the store and drive sales, recruiting, development, and performance management. You’ll be a retail maverick delivering exceptional customer service and a standout in-store experience.

You’ll own the store’s performance, manage operations, and mentor a motivated team to execute promotions and planograms, while staying connected with leadership and implementing data-driven strategies.

Qualifications

• Retail store management experience (1–2+ years).
• Strong communication, recruiting and operations skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Adaptable to a fast-changing retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the sales plan and/or comp sales goals.
• Recruit, develop, and retain a collaborative, passionate team.
• Lead customer engagement via social media, store apps and clienteling.
• Maintain operational discipline with structure, delegation and customer-first selling.
• Monitor shrink, payroll hours, schedules, and external factors affecting business.
• Collaborate with retail leadership and HQ on trends and feedback.
• Run sales reports and use data to guide strategy to hit targets.
• Mentor and build bench strength through recognition and coaching.
