Job summary

Citi Trends is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and develop a high-performing team in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will oversee performance, coaching, and compliance while delivering an exceptional customer experience and maintaining financial controls. This role emphasizes accountability, staffing, and growth opportunities within Citi Trends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3–5 years of experience as a Store Manager or equivalent retail leadership role.
• 5–7 years of overall retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and people leadership skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations, including percentages.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily store operations to meet sales goals, profit objectives, and customer experience standards.
• Monitor sales performance and take action to drive results.
• Maintain payroll, shrink, and operating expense controls.
• Ensure inventory controls and shrink prevention standards.
• Uphold Citi Trends policies and standards.
• Recruit, hire, onboard, coach, and counsel or terminate associates as needed.
• Direct and supervise associates in sales, inventory, cash handling, and customer service.
• Maintain appropriate staffing levels to support operations.
• Provide ongoing coaching and performance feedback to staff.
• Deliver excellent customer service in a safe, organized environment.
• Enforce policies, loss prevention measures, and merchandising standards.
• Address customer concerns professionally and promptly.
• Perform additional duties to support store operations and business needs.
