Job summary

Northern Tool + Equipment is seeking a Store Manager to lead daily store operations, drive sales, and manage inventory and cash-handling activities. You will guide staff to deliver a professional, courteous, and results-driven customer experience in a fast-paced retail setting.

Ideal candidates bring 4+ years in retail with supervisory experience, strong customer service and sales skills, and proficiency in MS Office. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years supervisory experience.
• Strong customer service, sales, decision and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in marketing, business administration or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee overall store operations including sales, inventory and cashier functions.
• Develop effective plans and programs to achieve sales goals and objectives.
• Take exceptional care of our customers.
• Promote store internal programs for alternative sources of revenue.
• Ensure sales floor is ‘Showtime Ready’.
• Implement retail training programs to ensure employees are fully trained.
