W. Lee Flowers & Co is seeking a Store Manager to lead operations, drive sales, and develop the store team in a customer-focused environment. You will manage merchandising execution, staff development, budgeting, and compliance to ensure profitable store performance.

The role emphasizes building a high-morale front-line team, maintaining food safety standards, and delivering outstanding customer experiences in our IGA Southeast/Kj’s Market stores.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3-4 years progressive supermarket management experience.

Responsibilities

• Implements in-store sales-building culture through merchandise programs and weekly sales plans.
• Ensures customer satisfaction with front-end service commitments.
• Accountable for achieving budgeted financial results.
• Protects assets and conducts weekly audits of front-end, receiving and pricing.
• Controls store expenses, including wage percentage.
• Stacks staffing: forecasting, recruitment and training; develops promotable talent.
• Sets performance expectations and conducts reviews and feedback sessions.
• Monitors store conditions via regular store walks.
• Trains and develops store management, including co-managers for growth.
• Maintains sanitation and food safety standards across the store.
• Fosters positive morale and a selling-oriented culture.
• Communicates effectively with District Manager, Support Staff and employees.
• Ensures compliance with company standards and all regulations.
• Maintains a safe facility for customers and staff.
