Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years supermarket management experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing an in-store sales-building culture with merchandising programs and weekly sales plans.
• Provide excellent customer service and front-end fast service commitments.
• Achieve budgeted financial results and assist the store manager in overall store results.
• Protect assets and conduct weekly audits on front-end, receiving, and pricing.
• Control store expenses including wage percent and staffing considerations.
• Staff the store with forecasting, recruitment, and development plans for hi-potential staff.
• Set expectations, provide feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
• Monitor store conditions with frequent walks and reporting.
• Train and develop the store management team for growth.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards throughout the store.
• Create positive morale through supervisory leadership and recognition.
• Ensure effective communications with management and staff.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations.
• Maintain a safe facility for customers and employees.
