iGA is seeking a Co-Manager for its W Lee Flowers stores, home to Kj’s Market and IGA Southeast locations in the Carolinas. The role supports the Store Manager, develops staff, drives sales growth, and ensures excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, budgeting, safety, and adherence to company standards to maintain a positive selling culture and strong store performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree plus 1-2 years supermarket management experience.
• Knowledge and skills generally associated with retail management responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Assist the store manager in implementing an in-store sales-building culture and merchandising programs to grow sales.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and front-end service.
• Assist in achieving budgeted financial results and store performance.
• Protect assets and conduct weekly audits of front-end, pricing, and shrink controls.
• Control store expenses and wage costs as part of budgeting.
• Assist in staffing, forecasting, recruitment and development of hi-potential employees.
• Communicate expectations, monitor performance, and conduct reviews.
• Maintain store conditions through regular walks and oversight.
• Develop and train store management and department managers.
• Maintain sanitation and food safety standards throughout the store.
• Foster positive morale and a selling culture among staff.
• Provide effective communication to Store Manager, Field Merchandisers and employees.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and audits.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local regulations and policies.
• Maintain a safe facility for customers and employees.
