Job summary

Ross Stores is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a Ross store. You will drive sales, manage staffing, training, and performance, and ensure a friendly, easy-to-shop environment while upholding company standards.

You will supervise the stockroom, front end, and sales floor; develop leaders, control expenses, and ensure compliance with state, local and federal regulations. Strong customer service and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of customer service.
• Must demonstrate the ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, manage schedules and payroll with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Lead store operations to meet company standards and optimize productivity.
• Analyze store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
• Recruit, train and develop Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Associates.
• Manage payroll, scheduling and labor costs while meeting business objectives.
• Ensure compliance with all State, Local and Federal regulations and company policies.
