Job summary

Ross Stores, Inc. is seeking a Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, drive sales and profit, and maintain a friendly, easy-to-shop environment. You will recruit, train and develop associates, manage the stockroom, front end and sales floor, and control expenses through best-practice execution.

The role requires coordinating schedules, enforcing safety, and upholding company standards while leading a team to deliver exceptional customer service and loss-prevention measures.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of store management experience in a retail environment.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to store associates at all levels.
• Fluency in English.
• Must exercise considerable independent judgement and discretion.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead all store operations to ensure company standards and best practices are met.
• Staff, train and develop leadership team to deliver the desired sales and profit results, while maintaining a friendly, easy to shop environment.
• Manage the stockroom, front end, and sales floor to ensure timely merchandising and proper goods receipt.
• Recruit, train and develop Associates.
• Monitor expenses and payroll, and implement cost-control measures.
