Job summary

Ross Stores seeks an experienced Store Manager to lead all aspects of store operations, drive sales, manage a team, and maintain a friendly, easy to shop environment. You will recruit, train and develop Associates, manage the Stockroom, Front End and Sales Floor to ensure timely merchandise movement and optimal store performance.

The role requires five+ years in store management, strong customer service, leadership, and the ability to work evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of Store management experience in a retail environment.
• Must maintain a high level of Customer service.
• Ability to lead, manage, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates.
• Ability to train, coach and develop Associates at all levels.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and execute plans.
• Fluency in English.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of Assistant Store Manager, Area Supervisors and all Retail Associates.
• Lead all store operations to meet company standards and best practices.
• Analyze store reports to evaluate expenses and performance.
• Ensure proper scheduling and payroll administration as needed.
• Uphold safety, loss prevention, and customer service programs.
