Qualifications

• Ability to recruit, interview, hire, counsel and terminate staff in compliance with laws.
• Experience reading and interpreting diagrams, safety rules, and operating procedures.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, select and retain qualified employees; ensure store is staffed.
• Provide training, evaluate performance, identify gaps and counsel as needed.
• Manage cash handling and deposits with accuracy and security.
• Lead customer service and maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Plan staffing and opening/closing procedures; manage weekly schedules.
• Review sales, profitability and inventory to identify trends and opportunities.
• Ensure merchandise is presented properly with pricing and signage.
• Maintain accurate inventory, control damages and shrink.
