Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Store Manager in Washington (Spokane area) to lead a multi-million-dollar store operation, drive sales, and uphold Our Burlington values. You will mentor teams, manage daily merchandising, operations and service tasks, and partner with district and regional teams.

The role calls for 5+ years in retail management, flexible scheduling, and the ability to lift up to 40 lbs. A strong focus on leadership and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule; including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience utilizing scheduling and reporting computer software
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to implement policies and initiatives.
• Ensure Assistant Managers and store team members fulfill their responsibilities.
• Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Merchandising to coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing.
• Partner with Assistant Store Manager, Operations to review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargebacks for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget including reporting and record-keeping.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new associates and ongoing coaching.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling.
• Facilitate communication and partnerships among store team, district and regional management.
