Job summary

Burlington Stores is seeking a Store Manager to lead a multi-million-dollar store operation, focusing on exceptional customer service, team development, and operational excellence. You will drive results while modeling our values and providing a world-class shopping experience.

You will mentor and coach associates, manage scheduling and payroll budgets, and partner with district leadership to maintain strong store performance and inventory integrity.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting software.
• Travel may be required from time to time.

Responsibilities

• Direct management and oversight of Assistant Managers, Supervisors, and Store Associates to ensure implementation of policies and initiatives.
• Ensure Assistant Managers and store team members fulfill individual responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, sales promotions and pricing with the Merchandising team.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs, and chargebacks for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty; lead by example and model Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales volume and expense budget and handle related reporting.
• Recruitment, screening and hiring of associates to meet staffing needs.
• Facilitate onboarding and ongoing coaching and development activities for all team members.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling.
• Facilitate effective communication among store, district, and regional teams.
