Job summary

Family Dollar is seeking a Store Manager in Columbus to lead associates, drive store sales, and deliver a positive shopping experience. You will oversee daily operations, train staff, safeguard assets, and build community partnerships under guidance from corporate headquarters.

The role requires strong communication, results focus, and retail management experience, with the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and perform routine mobility tasks in a dynamic store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Ability to focus on results and build strong relationships with team members is required.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Retail management experience is preferred.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 40 lbs. (occasionally 55 lbs.) from floor level to above shoulder height is required.
• Ability to handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

• Manage and oversee all aspects of business operations to maximize sales and profitability
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations
• Lead, train, and develop store associates to foster a culture of growth
