Burlington Stores is seeking an experienced Store Manager in Maryland to lead all facets of a multi-million-dollar store operation. You will mentor, coach, and partner with store associates to deliver world-class service while achieving sales and operating goals.

As Store Manager you will drive staffing, onboarding, coaching, and adherence to Burlington SOPs, ensuring strong partnerships across merchandising and operations teams. The role emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and customer focus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Retail Management experience in a Big Box or Specialty environment.
• Flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to lift and move boxes weighing up to 40 lbs.
• Experience using scheduling and reporting computer software.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of Assistant Managers, Supervisors and Store Associates to implement policies and initiatives.
• Ensure team members fulfill individual responsibilities.
• Coordinate merchandise placement, promotions and pricing with merchandising teams.
• Review receiving, transfers, debits/damages, RTVs and chargeback paperwork for inventory accuracy.
• Act as Manager on Duty and lead with Burlington SOPs.
• Manage multi-million-dollar sales and expense budgets with reporting and record-keeping.
• Recruit, screen and hire associates to meet staffing needs.
• Onboard and train new associates; provide ongoing coaching and development.
• Handle personnel and associate relations issues.
• Payroll budget management, workforce management and scheduling.
• Foster effective communication among store, district and regional teams.
