Job summary

Dollar General is seeking a Store Manager Candidate in Peoria, IL to assist the Store Manager with staffing, inventory management, merchandising, and daily store operations. You will help recruit, train, and supervise staff while ensuring store procedures are followed and customers receive excellent service.

This role supports the Store Manager for a limited period, with responsibilities including opening/closing duties, cash handling, and maintaining a safe, well-stocked store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Strong math and cash-handling abilities required.
• Ability to supervise staff and manage inventory effectively.
