Job summary

The position emphasizes store operations, merchandising, cash handling, and policy compliance with the potential for travel between nearby stores as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• One year of retail experience preferred for external candidates
• Ability to recruit and hire staff
• Strong cash handling and accuracy skills
• Competent in inventory management and merchandising
• Familiar with safety, deposits, cash controls and store policies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to coach and develop staff
• Detail oriented with good organizational skills
• Willingness to travel between store locations if needed

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with merchandising, staging, stocking and pricing per store direction.
• Assist in inventory management and store controls.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and model company policies.
• Support store opening and closing procedures.
• Help ensure cash handling and deposits are accurate.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and a safe environment.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete all required paperwork and deadlines.
