Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking per manager direction; ensure pricing and signage are correct.
• Oversee inventory management tasks, including damages, markdowns, scanning, and paperwork.
• Follow prescribed ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide superior customer service leadership.
• Maintain store operations per policies; follow cashier procedures and security practices.
• Participate in store opening/closing activities and bank deposits.
• Monitor financials, expenses, shrink, and inventory turns; review operating statements.
