Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Store Manager in Training in Dallas, TX, to learn profitable store operations, merchandising, and display techniques. You will recruit, train, and lead associates, while ensuring compliance, safety, and excellent customer service.

As you progress, you will implement directives from corporate leadership, manage daily activities, and drive store profitability. A quarterly bonus is offered for meeting performance goals in a fast-paced, high-energy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of retail management experience.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience preferred.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training and coaching.
• Oversee and delegate store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate HQ.
• Help the store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets
