You will recruit and develop associates, lead daily operations, ensure compliance, and execute directives from corporate. This role offers a path to full store management with a quarterly bonus opportunity.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training on operations and merchandising; coach and correct where needed.
• Oversee and delegate store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help the store reach maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain high level of customer service across the store.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
