Dollar Tree Stores, Inc. seeks a Store Manager in Training to learn profitable store operations while maintaining strong merchandising, signage, and inviting displays.

You’ll recruit and develop associates, guide daily activities, and ensure compliance with laws and policies, all while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. You will receive hands-on training, work with senior leaders, and contribute to meeting performance goals.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years prior retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise is a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing required.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve customers.
• Foster growth and development of associates through training and merchandising while coaching and correcting when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while enforcing company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
