This role develops leadership through hands-on coaching, recruiting, scheduling, and implementing directives from headquarters, with a focus on driving sales, compliance, and asset protection while maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years retail management experience preferred.
• Experience with hardlines or variety merchandise; BIG BOX experience a plus.
• Strong productivity management in freight processing.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and written skills.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.
• Must be able to lift 30 to 50 lbs and frequent lifting and movement.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire store associates to serve our customers.
• Foster growth and development through training on operations and merchandising while coaching when appropriate.
• Oversee and delegate all store activities to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Ensure full compliance with laws and company policies and procedures.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Implement operational and merchandising direction from corporate headquarters.
• Help store reach its maximum profit contribution.
• Protect company assets.
• Maintain a high level of customer service across the store.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professionals and customers.
