Tractor Supply is seeking a Manager Trainee to learn store management duties, drive Legendary Customer Service, and build a capable team. You will learn inventory control, scheduling, budgeting, and store operations to prepare for a Store Manager role.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, teamwork, and operational excellence while supporting store performance and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred. Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver’s license.
• Education: High school diploma or higher; agriculture/business degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruiting, hiring, developing and retaining team members.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, Understand needs, Recommend, Add value.
• Schedule and organize daily activities for store operations.
• Manage inventory, merchandise flow and in-stock levels.
• Coordinate with District/Regional managers to improve processes.
• Train on paperwork processing, forecasting, payroll analysis and budgets.
