Job summary

Rent A Center in Columbus, OH is seeking a Store Manager in Training to lead sales goals, oversee store operations, and develop leadership skills for a full leadership role.

You will drive daily activities, manage accounts and training, and ensure great customer service. Eligibility includes 3–5 years of retail/management experience and completing RAC's Store Manager Development Program.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of retail/management experience.
• Completion of RAC's Store Manager Development Program during training period.
• Computer literacy/proficiency in store operation applications.
• Valid state driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Sales: Set daily and weekly goals related to the store's sales activities, oversee and direct coworkers' sales activities, approve rental agreements, monitor revenue and growth.
• Account Management: Oversee direct coworker's collection activities, follow-up on accounts that require manager interventions, approve customer commitments and provide leadership.
• Leadership: Monitor and achieve planned profits by managing store resources, ensure policy compliance, protect assets, control inventory and pricing.
• Coworker Management: Train and develop coworkers, schedule daily activities, staff and hire for the store, maximize retention and customer service excellence.
