Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent strongly preferred.
• One year of experience in a retail environment preferred for external candidates.
• Knowledge of cash handling procedures and deposit controls.
• Experience with inventory management and store merchandising.
• Ability to recruit, hire, train, and ensure compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Assist in recruiting and staffing activities.
• Assist with store merchandising and stocking according to standards.
• Assist in inventory management, including damages, markdowns, and reports.
• Follow ordering practices to meet in-stock targets.
• Provide customer service leadership and act as a role model.
• Participate in store opening and closing activities.
• Ensure safe deposit of company funds and cash controls.
• Maintain clean, well-stocked stores and a safe environment.
• Operate store in the store manager's absence.
• Review operating statements for trends and opportunities.
• Complete paperwork according to guidelines and deadlines.
