GALLS is offering a Store Manager in Training (MIT) program designed to develop leaders for its 65+ stores. Trainees train at a designated location and then relocate after training to manage a new store, overseeing both front-of-house sales and back-of-house tailoring/warehouse operations.

The role emphasizes leading staff, achieving sales and profitability targets, and collaborating with other departments to implement effective strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree a plus.
• Proven ability to manage all aspects of a retail operation.
• Business and financial acumen with a track record of managing store profitability.
• Technically savvy with ability to learn new systems, including proprietary systems.
• Relocation is required after the training period.
• Market knowledge preferred (public safety experience if any).

Responsibilities

• Train at the designated training location, then relocate to your new store post-training.
• Lead and develop the store's staff, typically 6-12 employees, with annual revenue between $1–$3 million.
• Effectively manage Front of House (Sales) and Back of House (Tailoring/Warehouse) operations.
• Work cross-functionally with other departments to develop and implement operational strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales to ensure the store exceeds customers' expectations.
• Responsible for exceeding sales, margin, profitability, and operational goals.
• Provide an annual sales and operations plan with quarterly updates and revisions.
• Assist in the selection, evaluation, and development of team members.
• Other duties assigned as business dictates.
