O'Reilly Auto Parts in New York seeks an Assistant Manager in training to support store operations, sales and team leadership, and to prepare for a manager position at a future location.

You will supervise professional and retail teams, participate in hiring and training, ensure safety compliance, manage scheduling and payroll, and drive profitability. Bilingual candidates are encouraged; compensation starts at $16.00 up to $22.00 hourly with a full benefits package.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Recruiting, testing, hiring, evaluating, promoting, disciplining and discharging team members under supervision.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations.
• Assist in the hiring process by completing recruiting tasks, scheduling and participating in interviews.
• Ensure safety compliance and that all team members receive appropriate training.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager and participate in weekly customer calls.
• Manage delivery fleet upkeep and payroll/timekeeping, including scheduling systems.
