O'Reilly Auto Parts seeks an Assistant Manager in training to support store operations, sales, and team leadership in Minnesota. The role focuses on preparing for a future store manager position, with emphasis on coaching staff, safety, and performance management.

You will participate in leadership development, assist with scheduling, and contribute to achieving KPI targets while ensuring excellent customer service and store standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Must complete Assistant Manager Certification, Sales Specialist Training, and Manager Development Program.
• Ability to read and match numerical/alpha characters quickly and accurately.
• Knowledge of automotive parts, equipment and systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the professional and retail operations of store and team members involved.
• Recruit, test, hire, evaluate, promote, discipline and discharge team members under supervision.
• Train new team members and conduct performance evaluations; recommend pay increases.
• Support store manager and ensure safety compliance and training across teams.
• Make sales calls with/without store manager; schedule patient customer calls as needed.
• Manage store operations and delivery fleet; maintain neat, clean store appearance.
• Review P&L with store manager and discuss opportunities for improvement.
