Job summary

Tom Thumb Stores is seeking motivated individuals for a Managers In Training program in Alabama. You will learn to manage day-to-day store operations, support the Store Manager, and lead a team to deliver an exceptional guest shopping experience.

The program includes hands-on training with a Training Manager and Supervising Manager, with opportunities to grow within Cumberland Farms’ network. Ideal candidates have 1 year of retail or food experience and a background in leadership roles; ServSafe

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School or GED.
• Minimum Experience: 1 year retail or food experience.
• Preferred Experience: 1 year in retail, guest service or restaurant, in a leadership role.
• Preferred Licenses/Certifications: ServSafe /Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory

Responsibilities

• Greet Guests with a warm welcome and a smile and deliver exceptional Customer Service.
• Assist Store Manager with building and developing a strong store team: training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Monitor product levels on the sales floor and ensure 100% in-stock at all times.
• Oversee quality control, merchandising, and food safety programs in locations with hot food.
• Operate the cash register efficiently.
• Support Store Manager and District Manager as needed and cover shifts.
