Job summary

Tom Thumb Stores is seeking a high-energy retail leader to join our team as a Managers In Training. You will work with store leadership to develop a strong, guest-focused team and help manage daily operations in a fast-paced environment.

Training includes hands-on time with Training Managers and Supervising Managers, with opportunities to move into bench leadership roles. This role supports the Store Manager and other team members to deliver an exceptional guest shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: High School diploma or GED.
• 1 year retail or food service experience preferred.
• ServSafe/Food Safety certification a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and deliver exceptional customer service.
• Assist Store Manager with team development, training, scheduling, and coaching.
• Maintain in-stock conditions and rotate stock on the sales floor.
• Oversee food service quality, safety, and merchandising where applicable.
• Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently.
• Support Store Manager and District Manager with day-to-day operations.
